This week has been all things sparkle as Emerald Stone organizes a few photo albums in preparation for our winter weddings, and we’re still oohing and awwing over just a few of our favorite wedding ring shots!
The term ‘unplugged wedding’ is thrown around a lot in the wedding industry today, and more and more brides are opting for this type of event. But what exactly does the term ‘unplugged’ mean?
There’s nothing more beautiful than when the entire family is included in a wedding photo shoot, and Emily and Stevie’s engagement session at North Point State Park is no exception. Their adorable daughter, Penny, also posed for her parents’ engagement photos, and we pretty much can’t get enough of this adorable trio!
Photography is one of the most important investments you will make when it comes to your wedding day. These snapshots in time will be cherished for the rest of your life, and you want quality, professional photos of your big day that reflect this joyous occasion where your love began. Naturally, you want to choose the right wedding photographer who will be taking these shots very carefully.
So how do you go about narrowing down photographers? Emerald Stone has just a few suggestions of things to keep in mind while interviewing potential photographers, things we like to discuss with our brides every day.
Saturday was the perfect day!!! Ashley and Justin tied the knot at the gorgeous Boulder Ridge at Ski Liberty. After watching the weather all week, it turned out to be the perfect day!! A bright blue sky with big puffy white clouds. Ashley looked stunning walking down the aisle in her beautiful Alfred Angelo gown. The best part was looking back at Justin and capturing his expression while seeing Ashley make her way towards him and Jaxson <3

Having digital copies of your photos is important, but so are prints. It is an ordinary day, you are coming home from work, putting that last load of laundry in, and preparing a nice meal for your family when you pass one of your framed wedding photos in the hallway. You stop and recall that exact moment in time. You smile and for a second you are reliving one of the best days of your life. This occurrence is the magic of photography and high quality prints.
Weddings are grand occasions where two people come together, in front of their loved ones, to promise always to choose each other. Everyone has their own journey in life. On that voyage, we meet the amazing people we call friends and family. As time goes on, gathering everyone we love in one place is often a difficult task, but this phenomenon occurs on our wedding day. What a beautiful moment in time to capture. These are the types of moments to invest in.
