If you’re looking for a beautiful, timeless, and unique location to tie the knot, you should definitely look into having your ceremony take place on a real, antique steam engine! The New Freedom Train Station at Steam Into History has to be one of the most memorable weddings Emerald Stone Photography has ever shot, and it makes for an incredibly fun and unique experience for your guests!
Steam Into History has a cute little “getting-ready room” upstairs where the bride or groom can get ready for their big day. We captured Tatum getting ready to meet Jason at the altar- she is absolutely drop dead gorgeous and her sons are too cute!
When it comes to the actual ceremony, Steam into History allows for every dimension of wedding; you could keep it super simple or totally dress it up! Having a train wedding is so unique and really gives you the opportunity to play around with themes and styles, all while keeping your big day classic and timeless.
Tatum (pictured below) chose to keep her wedding ceremony simple and sweet. While she didn’t have a bouquet or flowers, the colors of the steam engine were bright enough in the background that opting to go without any decor still looked absolutely perfect!
This entire wedding was so perfect; it matched the couple and their personality perfectly. Plus, we got to meet Tatum’s two sweet little boys who she kissed while walking down the aisle. A completely perfect day!
Now that we have checked off photographing a train wedding (so awesome, right?!), we are beyond excited to have booked more weddings here and to have the opportunity to work with Steam Into History on many more weddings in the future!
This couple’s ceremony was followed by an intimate reception at Paesano’s Italian Restaurant of New Freedom, which they could walk across the street to after deboarding the train.
